Sansoric, María de, fl. 1572-1597

María de Sansoric (Sansores) was married to printer Pedro Ocharte. After his death in 1592, she took over the print shop. Under her direction, the press produced De Institutione Grammatica (1594) and Secunda Pars calendarij ad usum Fratrum minorum (1597). In 1597, Sansoric moved the press to the College of Tlatelolco, where she worked with Cornelius Adrián César. That same year, she transferred the print shop to her son Melchior, who began working with his stepbrother, Luis Ocharte Figueroa.
